Arrival Alert: Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Specs and Launch Date

The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2024 date has been scheduled for January 18th, according to Evan Blass. The same was posted on X but it was taken down, and isn’t available anymore. But screenshots of the post were captured by multiple publications

  • Display: The Galaxy S24 will feature a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED FHD+ 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,600 nits peak brightness. The Galaxy S24+ gets a 6.7-inch QHD+ display, while the S24 Ultra gets the biggest 6.8-inch display.

  • Processor: All three phones will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or Exynos 2400 depending on the region. The Indian variants will most likely get the Exynos chipset.

  • RAM and storage: The Galaxy S24 will come in two variants with 8GB RAM + 128GB and 256GB of storage. The Galaxy S24+ and S24 Ultra will pack 12GB of RAM + 256GB and 512GB of storage. 

  • Cameras: The Galaxy S24 and S24+ feature two 50MP cameras with a 3x telephoto sensor. Both phones will be able to record up to 8K videos. The Galaxy S24 Ultra will sport a 200MP primary camera with 3x and 10x telephoto sensors. 

  • Battery, charging: All three phones differ when it comes to battery capacity. The Galaxy S24 will pack a 4,000mAh battery, the S24+ gets a 4,900mAh battery, while the S24 Ultra will come with a 5,000mAh battery. 

  • Colours: All three phones will come in four colour options of Onyx Black, Cobalt Violet, Marble Gray, and Amber Yellow. The Galaxy S24 and S24+ will come in Armor Aluminum 2.0 casings, and the Ultra model in a new Titanium frame.
