Billie Eilish Criticizes Lengthy Concerts

Pop star sensation, Billie Eilish has made fans clear that she will not be performing in concerts for over 3 hours.

The Grammy and Oscar winner went live on the music app Stationhead to answer questions of her fans following the release of her latest 10-track studio album, “Hit Me Hard and Soft.”

When questioned about the possibility of staging a three-hour concert, akin to Taylor Swift's Eras Tour or Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour, Eilish emphatically replied, “I’m not doing a three-hour show, that’s literally psychotic. Nobody wants that. You guys don’t want that. I don’t want that. I don’t even want that as a fan.”

The artist further added, “Even my favorite artists, I’m not trying to hear them for three hours. That’s far too long. That’s literally psychotic.”

Although Eilish didn't aim her remarks at any specific artist, some Taylor Swift fans (Swifties) speculated she might be subtly criticising the “So Long, London” singer, who is currently performing the European segment of her extensive, over three-hour-long Eras Tour. Despite this speculation, Eilish has previously commended both Swift and Beyoncé for their impressive endurance in delivering lengthy performances. She had previously told The Los Angeles Times, “Taylor Swift [is an] untouchable superstar. The fact that they can put on a show that long and filled for so many incredible moments is amazing.”
