NEW DELHI- On Thursday night the Lok Sabha was filled with a heated debate between the BJP MP and BSP MP where the Bahujan Samaj Party MP Kunwar Danish Ali was insulted during the debate in the Lower House. The condemnable remarks were made by BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri, who now has received a straight warning from the Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla and the comments are now expunged from the records.
In a viral video clip on X from the Lower House, the BJP MP repeatedly abused and said Islamophobic slurs to Danish Ali While addressing his statement. He repeatedly called Danish Ali a terrorist and threw this mullah out kind of words. In the viral video, two BJP leaders were also seen laughing at the controversial remarks on which they've now clarified their points.
Now the Opposition party members are also coming forward and condemning the remarks and demanding severe action against him.
On the unparliamentary remarks by Mr. Bidhuri, the BJP has issued a show cause notice to him and sought an explanation. The Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also issued a warning of tough action against him.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh expressed regret and apologized immediately in the parliament after the remarks were made. He said that he express regret if the opposition is hurt by the remarks made by the BJP's MP.
