Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro phones have been launched in India officially. This comes after they have debuted in China and globally. The Vivo X100 series is also the first in the country to come with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC and the Pro version ships with a dedicated V3 chip for photography. The phones also feature a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display, up to 120W wired fast charging, and Android 14 OS.

Vivo X100, X100 Pro price in India, sale
The Vivo X100 is priced at Rs 63,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model and Rs 69,999 for the 16GB + 512GB version.
The Vivo X100 Pro comes in just 16GB + 512GB variant and is priced at Rs 89,999.
The pre-booking of the Vivo X100 series starts today at all major offline stores and the sale will begin on January 11th.
The company is offering up to 10 percent instant cashback with ICICI and SBI cards, a Vivo upgrade bonus of up to Rs 8,000, 24-months no-cost EMI, up to 40 percent discount on Vivo V-Shield Care and a Battery care plan.
As for online, the Vivo X100 series will be available via the Vivo website and Flipkart.
The company is offering a flat 10 percent discount through HDFC and SBI cards, up to Rs 8,000 exchange bonus, and 24 months of no-cost EMI.
Vivo also has a dedicated X-care for the Vivo X-lineup customers and offers 24/7 dedicated line, door-step repairs, a stand-by device option, and dedicated customer support.
Vivo X100, Vivo X100 Pro specifications
Display: The Vivo X100 and X100 Pro come with a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 1.5K pixels resolution, HDR10+, 120Hz variable refresh rate, up to 3000 nits peak brightness, 20:9 aspect ratio, and 2160Hz PWM dimming.
Processor: Both models are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 4nm SoC paired with Immortalis-G720 GPU.
OS: Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14.
Vivo X100 Cameras: Vivo X100 is equipped with a 50MP Sony IMX920 VCS bionic primary sensor with f/1.57 aperture, OIS and LED flash, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.0 aperture, and a 64MP telephoto camera with f/2.57 aperture, OIS, up to 100x digital zoom, and telephoto macro sensor. The phone gets Zeiss optics and a V2 chip.
Vivo X100 Pro Cameras: The Vivo X100 Pro has a 50MP 1-inch Sony IMX989 VCS bionic sensor with f/1.75 aperture, OIS, and LED flash, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 50MP 1/2″ APO telephoto camera with f/2.5 aperture, OIS, up to 100x digital zoom, and telephoto macro mode. There is a dedicated V3 imaging chip.
Front camera: The phones have a 32MP shooter on the front for selfies.
RAM/Storage: The chipset is paired with 12GB/16GB LPDDR5X/LPDDR5T RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB UFS 4.0 storage.
Others: There is an in-display fingerprint sensor, infrared sensor, stereo speakers, IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and Hi-Fi audio.

Vivo X100 vs X90: here are the upgrades
The primary upgrade the Vivo X100 brings to the table is the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC. This replaces the Dimensity 9200 4nm processor on the Vivo X90 series.
While the Vivo X100 retains the same V2 photography chip, the Vivo X100 gets the latest V3 chip and this will enhance and improve the photography game of the phone.
The 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens on the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro is being replaced with a larger 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera and this has an FoV of 150 degrees.
There is also a new 50MP APO telephoto camera with OIS, up to 100x digital zoom, and a telephoto macro. This is the first phone to feature a telephoto lens certified by Zeiss APO.
The battery on the Vivo X100 gets bumped to 5000mAh. Similarly, the Vivo X100 Pro battery is also upgraded to a larger 5,400mAh unit from a 4,870mAh cell.
The display size of both generation phones remains the same at 6.78-inch. There is also the same 32MP shooter on the front.
