Decoding Government's Move: Withdrawal and Reintroduction of Bills

The three new bills that were introduced in the Lok Sabha in August to revamp the criminal justice system have been withdrawn by the government. The Centre will draft new bills with amendments based on recommendations by the parliamentary standing committee.
