After Rashmika's deepfake video surfaced on social media, Amitabh Bachchan was quick to notice it and demanded legal action against the same. Internet users pointed out that the female in the original video was Zara Patel, a British Indian who has a massive following on social media. Rashmika's 'Goodbye' co-star shared his opinion on X and wrote, "Yes this is a strong case for legal (sic)." Meanwhile, Rashmika has not yet reacted to the video.
For those unversed, Rashmika made her Bollywood debut with the 2022 film Goodbye. Helmed by Vikas Behl, the film also stars Neena Gupta, Pavail Gulati, Elli AvrRam, Sunil Grover, and Sahil Mehta in prominent roles. The actress essayed the role of Big B's daughter.
