US President Joe Biden received a heads up ahead of the Israeli strikes on Iran’s military sites and hopes ‘this is the end’ of hostilities between both nations.“It looks like they didn’t hit anything other than military targets. My hope is this is the end,” he told reporters in Philadelphia, according to broadcaster CNN.He said he was debriefed by the intelligence community about the pre-dawn strikes that killed four Iranian air defence troop members.“Biden directed that every effort be taken to protect our forces and help defend Israel against any potential responses from Iran and its proxies,” the White House said in a statement as Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris joined a call Saturday with their national security team and were briefed regarding the Israeli strikes on suburbs of Tehran and two other cities.
