Election Commission of India on Friday issued a notice to Delhi Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Atishi after she claimed that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has approached her through a close associate, alleging she was threatened with arrest if she refused to join the party.
The Election Commission of India received the complaint from Union Minister Hardeep Puri, following which a notice eas issued to the Delhi Minister. Notably, a response has been sought from Atishi by April 6, 5 PM.
