Kavin after his successful film 'Dada' is now all set for the next project titled 'Star'. The film is directed by Elan of 'Pyar Prema Kadhal' fame. The makers took to social media on Monday to release the first look glimpse of the female lead Aaditi Pohankar. The video has the actress dressed in an ethnic wear and she is introduced as Jimikky.
The film 'Star' features Kavin, Aaditi Pohankar, Lal, Preity Mukundhan, Geetha Kailasam among others and the film's music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film's technical crew consist of cinematographer Ezhil Aasu and editor Pradeep E Ragav.
The film shooting is currently underway and it was initially said to star Harish Kalyan as the lead but it was replaced by Kavin later. Director Elan speaking about the movie earlier said that he reworked on the entire script and he revealed that the film is a mix of everything including romance and family drama.
On the work front, 'Star' marks the second Tamil film of Aaditi Pohankar after her Kollywood debut film 'Gemini Ganeshanum Suruli Rajanum' as she paired along side Atharvaa Murali. The actress made her acting debut in the Indian film industry with her movie 'Lal Bihari' in Marati.
