Tell us something about your character
Shaitani Rasmein is altogether a very different show, Saudamini is an archaeologist and like everyone in the show, she also aspires to have power. She takes the journey in search of power, however, it is still a mystery to see whether Saudamini will reach the right place or get out of the game.
Doing a fantasy show again, what is different here?
I have done Phir Laut Aayi Naagin with the same production house. I know Nikhil sir's vision and if he thinks I would be able to pull off such a strong character then it is for sure. I have always played good and positive characters. This is the first time I am playing a negative role. She is smart, negative, and manipulative, she is controlling everything through her brain. The shades and the layering of her character have been quite intriguing.
What do you think is different about your show?
Shaitani Rasmein is so different, initially when I entered, I thought it would be another daily soap, but no, the treatment given to it is grand. People are hooked on to the storyline because of its suspense, thrill and drama. They have kept an upgraded approach to the show. Now, even people want to watch something different and not the kitchen drama and romance.
