Forward Momentum: Tata Curvv EV Expected Range and Future Trends in Electric Vehicles

ev is readying its big launch for 2024 with the Curvv SUV. The Curvv will be rivalling the 4m plus compact SUV space and will be slotted between the Harrier and the Nexon. As we have written earlier, the Curvv EV will be coming first then there will be the petrol version which was also showcased at the AUto Expo 2023

Powering Up: Charging Infrastructure Compatibility of Tata Curvv Electric Vehicle

One of the big highlights of the Curvv would be the range that it would offer as being placed higher, the Curvv will offer more range than the Nexon EV. Like the Nexon EV, the Curvv EV will get MR and LR variants while the Medium Range would be the 40.5kWh battery pack found in the Nexon LR.

The Long Range will have a bigger battery pack at 50kWh or more which will be giving an enhanced range of 550km. While we expect the MR to give around 460km range, the LR could be around 500 or 550km per charge. This will instantly put it at par with upcoming EVs like the Maruti eVX also

The enhanced range will no doubt be a big draw for the Curvv EV. With the recent new showroom launch for EVs by Tata Motors, the next step is of course the launch of the Curvv. As seen with the spy shots, the Curvv EV will get styling touches from the Nexon EV including a full width DRL plus some concept touches which were seen with the concept Curvv.

The interiors would be expected to borrow the same screen and the bigger digital dials while features like a 360 degree camera plus ADAS is also expected since these features are currently the norm right now with other SUVs also having this. The Curvv EV will be launched within a few months.
