Rumours of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 have been around for quite some time.
A new leak now adds to the speculation with the discovery of a third foldable.
This foldable would join the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 later this year.
An affordable foldable smartphone from Samsung, which was previously rumoured to be in development, has allegedly been revealed through codename. The handset is believed to be an entry-level version of the regular high-end Galaxy Z Fold 6, which is expected to launch later this year alongside the new Galaxy Flip 6 smartphone. This could mark the first time Samsung launches more than two Galaxy foldable in a calendar year.
Affordable Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 codename allegedly revealed
According to import/export databases about Samsung’s foldable smartphones, another device has been spotted along with the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.
The internal code names for Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 are said to be “Q6” and “B6”, respectively. Another internal model number called “Q6A” for Samsung’s foldable was found to exist for over a year now, according to a report by WinFuture.
Judging by the codenames, the A here could be implying another version of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. This could most likely be the cheaper version of the flagship foldable that we’ve been hearing about all this while.
This is still under speculation though as we’re yet to see concrete evidence of a cheaper Galaxy Z Fold 6. But with multiple reports and leaks suggesting one, there might just be one that launches this year along with the next-gen Samsung foldable.
