India at the Grammy Awards 2024. To begin with, singer and music composer Shankar Mahadevan won the award for Best Global Music Album, for the album ‘This Moment‘.

Ustad Zakir Hussain won in the Best Contemporary Instrumental Album category along with Rakesh Chaurasia as well as the Best Instrumental Composition category. The maestro made history by becoming the first Indian artist to win three Grammys in a single night- For Global Music Performance, Instrumental Composition category, and Best Contemporary Instrumental Album category.
