India and England will kick off their preparations for the 2025 Champions Trophy with a white-ball series to be played from January 22 to February 12. The series will kick off with 5 T20Is before the action moves to thr 50-over format. The ODIs are of much importance and will give both teams to make plans for the ICC event.

India will soon name their squads for both series. Rohit Sharma is confirmed to lead India in the 2025 Champions Trophy and he will lead India in the ODI series before the ICC event.
Shubman Gill could continue as the vice-captain. The Times of India has reported that Jasprit Bumrah is likely to be Rohit's deputy at the CT. But there is no official word on it.

The India-England series will kick off 5 T20Is to be played on January 22, 25, 28, 31 and February 2. The three ODIs are scheduled for February 6, 9 and 12. The T20Is will start at 7:00 PM IST. All three ODIs will start at 1:30 PM IST.

The India-England white-ball series will have a live telecast on Star Sports channel. The matches will have a live streaming on the Disney Hotstar app.
