Introducing ZTE Axon 60 Ultra: Dual-Satellite and Dual-System Security

At today’s new product showcase event hosted by ZTE, the telecommunications equipment corporation unveiled several new gadgets. The lineup includes the Nubia Pad 3D Mark 2, Axon Station (Desktop Computer), and the star of the show, the ZTE Axon 60 Ultra smartphone. However, details regarding the Axon 60 Ultra’s availability, price, and memory options have yet to be announced.

Introducing ZTE Axon 60 Ultra: Dual-Satellite and Dual-System Security

Despite carrying the “Ultra” suffix in its name, the Axon 60 Ultra may not meet all the typical requirements associated with such a title, such as an ultra-high-end camera, processor, or display. Nevertheless, it boasts its advantages in other aspects, potentially targeting business-class users rather than photographers.

ZTE has emphasized the Axon 60 Ultra as a “Dual-Satellite + Dual-System + Security Flagship” smartphone. The device features a built-in independent security chip and operates on a dual-system architecture based on the “Jingxing” operating system.

Additionally, the Axon 60 Ultra supports ZTE Hongyu satellite communications technology and can directly connect to the Tiantong satellite. ZTE claims it to be the industry’s first independent domestic chip to support single Beidou positioning security for mobile phones. The device is equipped with an adaptive multi-antenna switching intelligent algorithm and boasts a built-in 8-root 5G antenna.

Regarding its camera system, the device sports a 50-megapixel optical stabilized primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and independent macro lens, and a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

In terms of core configuration, the ZTE Axon 60 Ultra is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chip, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It also features IR remote control, NFC, and IP68-rated dust and water resistance. The battery capacity reaches 6000mAh, supporting 80W super-fast charging.

The display of the device is a 1.5K 6.78-inch screen with a 452PPI pixel density and a 120Hz intelligent refresh rate. It also boasts a 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming super retina-level eye protection straight screen.
