A teacher from the ed-tech platform Physics Wallah has gone viral on social media for his unique approach to explaining the chemistry concept of chirality during his class.
Chirality refers to a property of molecules that lack symmetry, making them non-superimposable on their mirror images. Typically, this topic is taught with the help of molecular models or digital tools. However, this teacher decided to ditch the usual methods and become the demonstration himself.
In the now-viral session, the teacher stunned his audience by flipping into an inverted position, balancing his legs on a chair while placing his hands firmly on the floor. With his body contorted into the role of a molecule, he used his arms, legs, and head to represent different components of the structure.
This physical display was his way of showing how the molecule rotates, bringing an abstract concept to life in such a manner.
The 54-second clip was shared by X user Priyanka with the caption: "Absolute cinema".
