Jackie Shroff's Daughter Krishna on 'KKK 14' : Ready to Show the World Who I Am

Actor Jackie Shroff's daughter, Krishna Shroff, is set to make her debut in the entertainment world with Rohit Shetty-hosted show, Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. In an exclusive chat with IndiaToday.in, the fitness expert shared that the decision to be in the spotlight happened all of a sudden. She added that she is now ready to face the harsh light of camera.

Krishna also shared that the offer to be on KKK came two years ago, but she wasn't ready then. On the same lines, Krishna revealed that she wouldn't mind debuting as an actor now: "I was in a different state of mind when the offer came my way two years back. I wasn't ready to put myself out there, be in that vulnerable space. I think everything has its right time. Today, I want to connect with a larger audience, and this is a massive platform. I am ready to show the world who I am," she told us.

When asked about making her acting debut, Krishna smiled to say, "If you had asked me this a couple of years back, I would have said a direct no. However, now, I think I have a much more open perspective towards it."

She also touched upon the 'nepotism' tag that most star kids face, sharing that she has become quite immune to trolls: "I have had this negativity ever since I remember. At the end of the day, I am thankful for my trolls as much as my supporters. People talk about you only if you are someone or if you are doing something in life. You just need to realise that someone's opinion doesn't define you."

Talking about her family's reaction to her being a part of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, Krishna Shroff said that she shared the news first with brother Tiger Shroff: "As soon as I made the decision, I told him and he was quite happy. However, I think it sunk in for him only after I shot the promo." When asked if he had some advice for her, the loving sister laughed, "Honestly, his tips are not possible for an average human being. He is a superhuman and has a very different take on everything. I think all I can hope is that I have his support throughout."

As for her parents, Krishna said that they were initially a little nervous as it's a whole new world. Given that it was the first time she was doing something like this, they were nervous as well as excited.

Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 is being shot in Romania and will go on air on Colors TV next month.
