A committee appointed to prepare a draft of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) will submit the document to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in Dehradun on Friday.
The panel headed by Justice (retd.) Ranjana Prakash Desai will submit the draft to Dhami at his official residence at 11 am.
A special four-day session of the Uttarakhand assembly will be held from February 5-8 to pass a legislation on the UCC.
