Rashmika Mandanna recently turned presenter at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards, which is one of the notable honours for anime work. Rashmika announced the nominees for the Best Art Design Award. The popular anime series Demon Slayer, which has a huge fanbase in India too, won the award.
The video of the actor presenting the award in Japan went viral on social media
The actor wrote, "Japan was a place I’ve dreamt of going to for years.. since childhood never thought it would ever be possible. Let alone be a part of an award show giving an award to one of the creators of and in the anime world! And finally, it came true! Being able to meet everyone here, receiving the incredible love here, receiving such a warm welcome.. the food, the weather, the place so clean, such lovely people. It’s amazing!"
Rashmika will soon resume the shoot for her much-awaited film Pushpa The Rule. Talking about her role in the film, Rashmika recently revealed that she has gotten more scope in the second part as she has become the protagonist (Allu Arjun)'s wife. Pushpa, popular in Japan too, will be released there on the same day as India. Directed by Sukumar, the movie is expected to hit the screen this year.
