Former Australia opener Simon Katich was all praise for dashing India batter Rinku Singh, saying that the 26-year-old is one such batter who can get going from the word “go”. Rinku Singh has been impressive in the ongoing T20I series between India and Australia so far, having scored an unbeaten 22 off 14 balls and 31 off nine balls in Vizag and Thiruvananthapuram respectively, both in match-winning causes.
“He (Rinku) has made it his own, particularly for the Kolkata Knight Riders this season, and now for India. Yes, there will be competition when the more experienced players come back into the team. He is doing everything right and it is such a specialist role,” Katich said on JioCinema during the preview show building upto the third T20I that will take place in Guwahati on Tuesday
