Shivraj Chouhan's Tractor Drive and Impactful Post

Shivraj Singh Chouhan holds the record for the longest tenure as Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, spanning from 2005 to 2018 and then from 2020 to 2023.

Speaking on the party's future plan for the veteran leader, BJP National President JP Nadda, while speaking at the AajTak Agenda 2023 Session, said, "They (party leaders including Shivraj Singh Chouhan) will be given new responsibility. They are our veteran leaders. They will be given responsibility according to their statures."

Bhopal: Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Thursday shared a post on X (formerly Twitter) where he was seen driving a tractor. He wrote, "Today plowed the fields and sowed gram."

Recently, Ujjain MLA Mohan Yadav was appointed as the new Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh at a meeting in Bhopal held in the presence of central observers. Mohan Yadav had earlier served as a minister in Shivraj Singh Chouhan's cabinet. On Monday, it was Shivraj Singh Chouhan who announced that Mohan Yadav would lead the BJP legislature party in the state.

Along with the video of him driving a tractor, he shared a powerful message where he said that he "paid homage to the earth with a few drops of sweat.
