Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Saturday asked Rahul Gandhi not to use his phone in the House, a request he made when PM Modi was speaking on the debate on the 75th anniversary of adoption of the Constitution. Gandhi, seated in the front row, was seen distracted, frequently checking his phone, and chatting with colleagues.

Meanwhile, his sister, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, was fully engaged and listening to the PM's speech on headphones. Despite his role as leader of the opposition in LS for the debate, Gandhi returned to the session only after PM Modi had spoken for half-an-hour.
