Devgn, renowned for his roles in hit films such as Singham and the Drishyam franchise, has recently acquired 100,000 shares of Panorama Studios International, a rising small-cap stock, through participation in a preferential share issue conducted by the film production company

Regulatory filings reveal that Ajay Devgn's name appears among nine investors who collectively invested Rs 24.66 crore in the preferential share allotment. The Bollywood icon's investment amounts to approximately Rs 2.74 crore, with a purchase price of around Rs 274 per share. This price represents a considerable discount compared to the BSE's closing price of Rs 949 per share on Saturday.


Ajay Devgn shares a strong rapport with Panorama Studios, having collaborated on several productions such as 'Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji', 'Raid', and 'Drishyam'. In the forthcoming horror film 'Shaitan', Devgn not only assumes the role of an actor but also serves as a co-producer alongside Panorama Studios and Jio Studios


Earlier in the week, it was reported that Panorama has teamed up with Gulfstream Pictures and JOAT Films for the Hollywood remake of the Drishyam franchise. The immensely successful film series featuring Devgn in the lead role is also in the process of being developed in South Korea, while negotiations are underway to finalize a development deal for a Spanish-language version.


Kumar Mangat Pathak, the Chairman and Managing Director of Panorama Studios, has outlined the ambitious goal of producing 'Drishyam' across 10 countries within the next three to five years.

Pathak shares a close working relationship with Devgn not just as a producer but also as his talent manager
