This collaboration marks the return of a successful partnership between BookMyShow Live and Indian Railways, previously seen during the U2: Joshua Tree Tour at D.Y. Patil Sports Stadium in 2019. By integrating sustainable travel options into large-scale events, BookMyShow Live continues to lead the way in creating accessible and innovative fan experiences while supporting environmentally conscious choices easing city infrastructure and traffic significantly during such high-demand concerts.
Coldplay is ready to make history with their highly-anticipated performances in India. This marks Coldplay’s first performance in India since 2016. In addition to the Mumbai shows, Coldplay will also be performing at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on January 25 and 26, 2025. Previously, the band was supposed to hold only one show in the city. However, a second show was added due to “unprecedented demand” by the audiences.
Meanwhile, ahead of the Coldplay concert in Ahmedabad, a notice was recently also sent to the singer Chris Martin and the organisers of the show, asking them not to use children in any form on stage. As reported by NDTV, the organisers have also been asked to ensure that no children are allowed to enter the concert venue without earplugs or hearing protection.
