The Indian Railways is set to commence recruitment for various Ministerial and Isolated category posts, including PGT, TGT, Chief Law Officer, Public Prosecutor, Junior Hindi Translator, Librarian, and Primary Railway Teacher. The official notification for these vacancies has been released, and the application window will open on January 7, 2025, closing on February 6, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have completed at least 12th standard. For teaching positions, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the relevant subject along with B.Ed, D.El.Ed, or a valid TET certificate is mandatory. Specific qualifications may vary for other posts; candidates are advised to refer to the official notification for detailed requirements.

Age Limit: The age limit for applicants generally falls between 18 and 33-48 years, calculated as of January 1, 2025.

Application Fee

  • General, OBC, EWS: Rs. 500

  • SC/ST: Rs. 250

The application fee can be paid online through debit card, credit card, and net banking. A refund of Rs. 400 (General, OBC, EWS) and Rs. 250 (SC/ST) will be provided after the completion of the Stage I exam.

Salary

Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 47,600 per month, depending on the specific post.
