As the new year approaches, many of us are looking forward to planning our holidays. The government has recently released the list of public holidays for 2024, helping us anticipate when we can take a break. With a mix of mandatory and optional holidays, it's the perfect time to start organizing holidays, family gatherings, or simply some well-deserved time off.

This year's holiday calendar offers plenty of opportunities for rest and rejuvenation throughout the months.

The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions has announced 17 gazetted holidays and 34 restricted (optional) holidays for the upcoming year.
