ICC Champions Trophy 2025: The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is all set to take place in a hybrid model with India playing their matches in Dubai whereas the rest of the tournament will take place in Pakistan.

In the latest update regarding the marquee tournament, ICC came up with a much-needed solution after an agreement with both the BCCI and PCB.

The future of the Champions Trophy took a massive controversial turn ever since India's denial to travel to Pakistan despite the latter being the dedicated hosts for the tournament.

While India India declared that they would not travel to Pakistan because of security reasons, ICC is yet to announce the official schedule with less than 70 days remaining before the start of the tournament. It looks like the deadlock has finally been broken, as the hybrid model comes up as the only solution.

According to a report by Sports Tak, what PCB got in return is that they will be hosting an ICC women's tournament for the first time in history after 2027.

The report also added that both BCCI and PCB have reached a consensus on the 2026 T20 World Cup, deciding that Pakistan will not travel to India for the league-stage clash against India, which will instead be held in Colombo.
