In the last few days, it's YouTuber Gaurav Taneja who has been dominating every social media platform. From his Shark Tank India pitch for BeastLife and clash with Shaadi.com founder Anupam Mittal to his LinkedIn bio with an obvious jibe at Mittal to whatnot- something or the other is continuously happening with India’s one of the richest YouTubers- resulting in him dominating the social media trends. Amid all the drama, it seems like the Youtuber is now locked out of his LinkedIn handle, as he reached out for help on his other social media handle over the same.
For those confused about the entire matter, allow us to elaborate from the beginning. The influencer recently appeared on Shark Tank India’s 4th season, only to not only get rejected by the Sharks but to also face an embarrassingly blunt response from Mittal against the YouTuber’s BeastLife venture. It’s like the episode then triggered a chain of events, as Taneja decided to change his LinkedIn bio into a rather ‘witty’ one.
As per reports, the YouTuber’s LinkedIn bio read, ‘good influencer/terrible entrepreneur’. For context, the labels were a reflection of how Mittal reacted to Taneja’s pitch. As per Mittal, Taneja's entrepreneurial venture would have required his full attention, due to which the businessman had asked him if the influencer would shut his YouTube channel down, to focus on the new business venture- to which Taneja had refused.
The YouTuber later also advocated for his marketing skills and even compared his business’ reach with Mittal’s projects. “For perspective: Shaadi.com IG distribution (since April 2015): 125K followers. 8-month-old BeastLife: 127K followers and growing. Shaadi.com might have spent millions to create this distribution,” a post by the YouTuber read.
Coming back to Taneja getting locked out of his LinkedIn handle- explaining his sudden deactivation post the ‘LinkedIn bio controversy’- Gaurav claimed that he was locked out of the account for more than 48 hours. “Hi team @LinkedInIndia. I have been locked out of my account for 48+ hrs now. Can you help me get the account back, please? Thanks, @LinkedInHelp,” a post by the YouTuber read.
The post was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘flyingbeast320’. The post was shared yesterday and pulled more than 47K views from people.

As soon as the post went viral, the influencer also received a response from the official handle of LinkedIn on X. “Hey! We are sorry for the trouble with your account, and are here to help. We have received and responded to your DM, please check. Thanks! - PK,” the post read.
