Dr. Yamini Malhotra, a popular actress, dentist and lawyer, who is best known for 'Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin' and Bigg Boss 18 took to her social media handle to criticize podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia's controversial remark on parents at India's Got Latent. She spoke highly about the need of values and respect for parents and talked about how this kind of dark humour is certainly not acceptable and misleading in today's time. Yamini Malhotra has always been known for calling a spade a 'spade' and once again, she's followed a fearless approach to call out Ranveer Allahbadia for his controversial and insensitive remark about parents.
Yamini took to her social media handle to write, "There has to be a limit to what we call 'dark humour' and 'roasting'. Cracking jokes is fine but within respect of everyone. What Ranveer Allahbadia, said on India's Got Latent is neither funny nor cool. Parents are the reason we exist, the reason we stand on our feet today. How can we joke about something so disgusting involving them? If this is the direction comedy is heading, then we really need to stop and think - where is our respect? Where are our values? Making people laugh should never come at the cost of basic decency. Let's not normalise this please."
Yamini's statement has struck a chord with netizens and she's being appreciated immensely on social media for the same. On the work front, Yamini is gearing up for exciting work updates, the official announcements of which will take place soon.
